The film tells the story of the creation of the Open Shutter exhibit.   Some people may find the photographs and film to be emotionally disturbing. But such a response could unnecessarily overlook the value of what the photographers in “Shooting Beauty” achieved. The viewpoints and angles of perspective are out of the ordinary and the subject matter is often partially obscured or out of the frame.
